Clifford L Mineau

1924-2000

Mr. Clifford L. Mineau, 76, Oconto, died Saturday morning, August 19, 2000 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto.
Mr. Mineau was born February 4, 1924 in Oconto, a twin son born to the late William and Rose (LaCount) Mineau. He served his country in the
United States Army from April of 1943 until November of 1945 and was in the Supreme Headquarters Allied Invasion Forces. Cliff worked for many years in Green Bay as a plumber, doing much of his work in area papermills.

He was a member of Local 298 plumbers and steam fitters union as well as the Jones-Modrow-Young American Legion Post, Oconto. Surviving are three daughters Debra (Wes Follett Jr.) Mineau, Oconto; Christine (Larry) LeFebre, Appleton; and Sharon Dantinne, Crivitz; a son Michael (Pam) Mineau, Oconto; a brother Robert and Cliff's twin brother Wilfred "Toby" (Violet), Green Bay; a sister Betty LeBreck, Oconto; a brother-in-law, Art Gehring, Oconto; a sister-in-law, Margaret Mineau, Florida; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Clifford was preceded in death by two brothers Father David Mineau and Jack Mineau, as well as a sister Mary Gehring, a brother-in-law, Paul
LeBreck, and a sister-in-law, Monna Mineau. Relatives and friends will be received at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Joseph Site, Oconto from 9 until 10:15 AM Tuesday, August 22, 2000.
Mass of Resurrection 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church. The Rev. Fr. David Ruby officiating. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery. Ackerman Funeral Directors, Oconto have been entrusted with the arrangements.
