Myles William KORANDA. Born on 21 Aug 1926 in Benton Harbour, MI. Myles William died in Harvey, Illinois on 6 Jun 2006, he was 79. Buried on 9 Jun 2006 in Calvary Cemetery Steger, IL.

On 28 May 1948 when Myles William was 21, he married Helen Jane HAYES, daughter of William John HAYES & Minnie Annie DRAEGER, in St. Joseph, MI. Born on 2 Oct 1925 in Oconto; Oconto Wi. Helen Jane died in Hazel Crest, Illinois on 11 Apr 1990, she was 64.

My grandfather and I grew very close to one another over the past few years. In a way you can say we were best friends. I learned a lot from him as I am sure he did I.  I miss those chats and guidance he gave. He always made sure I was saving money and always was on the look out for ways to alleviate my migraines, headaches and pain.  He is my rock and even though he is gone his words and advise hold strong in my heart and head.  I love my grandfather and even though I can't visit his home he can visit mine.
